Transferring into Kenan-Flager

Hey guys,
I’m a sophomore transfer from Binghamton University’s School of Management.
I was wondering how hard it would be to transfer into Kenan-Flager in UNC.
What weighs into whether or not you get in?
Is it easier the more credits you have?
Does it matter if i’m transferring after only one semester in UNC?
Is there anyone here who has gone through the process before?
What steps should I take right now to guarantee my admission into the Business School?
Thank you!

From lurking threads it seems that the business school takes into consideration
Internship/work experience as well as strong leadership extracurricular, is this true?
It also seems to be the case that admission for Out of State Transfer students is harder.
Can anyone who has transferred into KF or is currently in KF confirm this?
Thanks!

Transferring into UNC is easier for OOS than first year admissions. The 18% cap does not apply to transfers.

Thanks for your response,
But i’m talking about the Kenan-Flagler School of Business
I was accepted into UNC but I have to complete one semester in the Arts and Sciences College before transferring into the business school and I want to know how hard it is to get into Kenan-Flagler.

So, you are applying to KF. Approximately 50% of all UNC applicants get into KF. OSS or in-state is not a factor. We do have a greater % of OSS, but, I think that is a result of the 18% cap on the first year class weeding out weaker OSS applicants. For KF you need a strong GPA, good grades on the pre-reqs, a good interview, demonstrated leadership, internship is a plus.
