I will be a freshman this fall. I will be going to my state school, but its one of the better public schools, ranking in the top 20 of public schools, top 60 overall. I applied to Johns Hopkins, currently ranked 16th nationally by UsNews, and got accepted. However, I do not want to attend Hopkins because it does not seem to be a fit for me. Would admissions for some of the more selective schools, schools ranking in the top 20 to 50 be harder than freshman admissions? Also, how generous is financial aid for transfer students? Thanks.
