Transferring: Less Than A Week To Decide

Resident of Northern Virginia, 20 years old.

Spent five semesters at Northern Virginia Community College (straight out of high school) and completed around 90 credits, 6 of which were actually at Georgetown SCS. Graduated with 3.99 SCL. Eldest of five children, intern for cardiothoracic surgeon, pianist. Spent half of high school in private school and half homeschooled.

Time to transfer, and I've got less than a week to decide where to go.

Dream school: Georgetown (who lost my application again this year, and called me two days before decisions saying they were missing materials. Rejected. Appealing second look/waitlist. They. LOST. my. freaking. application. 2 YEARS IN A ROW.

Got accepted into:

William and Mary - really hard, prestigious. I know I can succeed but will I have any life out of academics. Williamsburg doesn't seem very happy. 60 credits residency. Stupid hard professors.

Goucher College 60 credits residency. (I know nothing about this school except its reputation for having a outstanding Liberal arts program)

George Washington University 60 credits residency.
(20 minutes by metro, love the school, no actual campus but just exists in DC, both my grandparents went here. 41-68k if I can't get FA...still waiting for CSS to be processed. Would not mind at all. Great premed education but I'd be happier if I got some freaking FinAid )

Virginia Commonwealth U 60 credits residency. (I hear its GMU for people who hate Fairfax/NoVa area. Great arts and OK med school. Hipster college, ratchet/hippie city.)

Marymount University 60 credits residency. (Easy, super rich kids, - a cruise. I don't find a lack of challenge appealing. 15 mins from home...too close.)

New York University 60 credits residency. (41-68k if I can't get FA...still waiting for CSS to be processed. Still haven't gotten to visit NYU or NYC. Parents won't give me car for the weekend. Still sounds cool. I read a lot about it I know exactly what I'd be doing if I went there. I love the sound of it but I think my parents have closed that door through not helping me on that front. "Oh trust me, you'd hate New York." Can we visit? "Maybe next week!" )

Narrowed it down mostly to UVA and GMU

George Mason University 45 credits residency. - 1 year + summer. A continuation of my current environment. Same class structure and even same professors. Feeder school for NOVA. Commuters everywhere. 40k commuters I think. Not much ambition in students but great post bac and accell programs. I don't want to go here because I feel like I'll be shooting lower than I wanted; Georgetown or UVA. Can't convince folks to let me rent in an apartment near campus because its a 20 min drive. May get campus housing. Seems depressing to go to but it could be a great launching pad for my graduate and med plans. Keeps me close to DC and resources but feels like another 1.5 years at NOVA. Not sure if I can stand it. (Big Fish, Small Pond)

University of Virginia - I love it here. Not because of the party scene (I'm focused on what's important) but because of the community I already have there, the atmosphere in the school itself, and the fact it's UVA. CVille is great, too. Downsides: I've done a lot of research and graduating averages hover between 3.1 and 3.4. I'm a 4.0 kid, never gotten lower than a C, 97 percent As. But I hear that UVA's professors love curving and giving Cs to students with a 93 in their classes. Will this affect medical school entrance? 60 credits residency. - 2 years. I've spent a lot of time here and I have dozens of friends here but not sure graduating with a lower GPA than I would at GMU is great. (Big Fish, Big Pond with lots of other Big Fish...so I guess that makes me an average fish)

What is the difference between Mason 3.9 + year internships +EMS versus UVA 3.4/5 + summer internships + EMS?

What should I do? I feel so stuck. Two years of a great experience versus a another year of monotony and Northern Virginia traffic. What will get me further? Is Mason that bad? Is UVA that good?
