Transferring out of UCSB after first year, question about midterm report?

Hello, I am looking to apply to Santa Clara University as a transfer for Fall 2013. I was initially accepted to the school as a freshman, but I declined the offer, and now, of course, I wish I had chosen that school. I am stressed out about the midterm report/transcript, because I intend to submit my application in mid- January, but there is also rolling admission till April. I realize that I only have 3 classes under my belt while I am applying, but I will have the minimum of 30 credits completed by the end of my first year. I am wondering when I am supposed to send in the midterm report with my application, or should I wait to send it later after I have completed more classes in the winter quarter? Same question goes for my transcript...I know that I will have to send in my SAT scores and highs school transcripts, but I am confused about the college ones. Thanks!

You send your UCSB official transcript whenever it has your fall quarter grades on it.

Since you’re on the quarter system and they have rolling admissions, you might want to call SCU and ask them when they think it’s best for you to send your mid-term report. You definitely want to wait until you have made some progress in winter qt, but because it’s rolling, it’s a little tricky.

If accepted, you’ll send another official transcript from UCSB to show that you’ve completed the coursework you planned to take.

Yeah that’s what I’m worried about…because I want to get my application in ASAP, but at the same time I know that I won’t have many classes to show for myself with just one quarter under my belt…
