I was enrolled at an institution this fall as a freshman. I got into some trouble and long story short, they wanted to suspend me but I withdrew beforehand. I am planning on enrolling in community college for the spring semester and transfer to another school for next fall.
Am I required to tell schools I am applying to that I was enrolled at the school? I earned no credit and I am pretty sure I just got all W’s for the classes. I was technically never found responsible for any wrong doing since the hearing and such never happened, so that won’t be on the record to other schools. Do I need to tell schools I went there? What do I say if they ask what happened?
Yes. They want to know all schools you attended.

I have no idea on your specifics but I would highly suggest taking at least one and if possible two courses during the winter session (at my CC these are online, a lot of work but manageable). Depending on the schools you want to transfer to it might be tough for the Fall semester, you’ll probably want to take two or three courses during the summer session as well to catch up. Worst case you would be applying to transfer this time next year for the spring semester. You’d also likely want to use one of your essays talking about what happened and how it served as a great learning experience/wake up call for you, talk about turning a negative into a positive through hard work etc, good luck.
