Hi, so I’m considering transferring schools from a public, florida school to hopefully school in the northeast. I currently go to University of South Florida and have a 3.82 gpa, with some experience working in a bio lab. I’m wondering what my chances of getting into Cornell, Skidmore, or Stony Brook would be. I would be applying as a bio major (I’m currently a microbio major). I’d be transferring into my junior year. My act score was 28 with a high school gpa of around 3.6 if that matters. If you have any other suggestions for good schools for bio in the northeast, please let me know! Thanks!
What can you afford?
Cost really isn’t an issue, as long as the school has a good financial aid program.
Wut?
My friend got into Cornell last year as a jr transfer. She got 0 aid and could only attend because of a national scholarship. So you have a good chance of being accepted but don’t expect a lot of aid unless you are a URM.
