I’d like to transfer from one state university to another, but I would like to start fresh at the new university. I’m thinking about not sending my first university transcript at all, but just sending my community college transcript (I have a higher GPA there). If I am accepted into the second university, but am caught later on, what are the chances that I’ll be expelled. Also, what if I don’t even tell the first university that I even transferred at all? What are the chances that I’ll be caught there too?
If the university that I started at finds out that I transferred without telling them and without sending the transcript, will the first university expel me too?
There’s a national database where both universities could very easily look you up. This is a really dumb idea.
If you do not provide all of your transcripts, you can be denied admission, you can be expelled, and even after you have graduated you can have your degree rescinded. So send all of the transcripts.
And don’t forget you will be expected to pay back any financial aid you received.
Chances that you will be caught? 100%
