I am an incoming freshman at Berkeley in L&S but am still unsure in what to major in. I’ve been learning about the chemical engineering major and it seems appealing to me. Does anyone know anything about switching into CoC from L&S?
Or information about switching colleges in general?
I’d also like to know as a prospective CoC applicant. There isn’t much out there on how competitive admissions is for it. Is chemistry as competitive as chemical engineering? Am I better off applying to L&S and transferring?

@ucbalumnus I’ve looked over the official links before when I was first researching the chemical engineering major at Berkeley but was just wondering if there was any anecdotal information about how hard it is to transfer in actuality. Thanks for the help though
