Transferring to Columbia from Cornell

Hey Guys!

I am extremely excited and thankful to be a part of Cornell's Class of 2017. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a college in a larger city. Cornell was the best college of those to which I was admitted, however it was not my first choice. Among many other reasons, Columbia appeals to me primarily because of its location, New York City. Long story short, I want to transfer to Columbia.

(1) How much will a bad senior year in high school hurt me, assuming I keep a 3.8+ GPA at Cornell? (All As Freshmen and Sophomore Year, a few Bs Junior year, one B senior year 1st semester, 2Bs and a C [!!!!] 2nd semester senior year.)

(2) Would retaking the ACT this summer (before my freshman year of college) have any benefit? (assuming I score higher)

Bump! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
