Transferring to Columbia from Cornell

I did not apply to Columbia as a freshman, but I have discovered it is a more fitting school for me, particularly in areas relevant to my majors. I can demonstrate a clear need to transfer.

I currently have a 3.92 at Cornell, and I am certain I will get two excellent professor recommendations. I got a teaching assistant position for this Spring as a freshman, which is rare. In high school, I got a 35 on the ACT and a 42 in IB with 4 HL’s. Realistically, do I have a fair chance at being admitted to Columbia?

Thank you for any insight you can provide. I would be happy to do the same.

Good chance. High GPA, same prestige level and most importantly.academic reasons are the best reasons for transfer.

Only advice is try to come off well-rounded on the Columbia Supplement.
