Transferring to CU Boulder

I’m giving serious thought to transferring to Boulder for Fall 2020. I’m going to be a sophomore and I was admitted as Exploratory Studies, but I’m thinking of an English or Political Science major with the intentions of pursuing Law School.

I was just wondering how strong these departments are, how many post-grad opportunities they would give me, and where graduates end up after their time at CU. I know this school is more known for STEM and Business than humanities, but I was wondering how valuable a degree from CU in either of the two majors I’m considering would be?

I’m out of state, and while the cost isn’t much of an issue I want to make sure that the hefty price tag is worth it. Thanks!

Hi, I am a current student at CU Boulder and I was a transfer applicant as well but I transferred in spring 2020. Boulder has a really strong political science program and a strong psychology program if you’re looking in that area. Boulder’s graduate law school is top 15 in the nation I believe. I love boulder and I think it’s worth it for you to transfer! Sko Buffs!
