So i am a freshman cal lutheran university and I am not enjoying it very much. I am looking to transfer to another college next year. I'm looking to going to CSU-longbeach or UC-San Diego, and others. but i looked up the requirements to transfer and i dont meet all requirements to transfer to some schools. I was wondering if there is anyway around this, like applying to be a freshman again? if anyone has any idea how to get around this it would be greatly appreciated! I am really disliking Cal Lutheran and want to get out of here.Thank you so much!

After a year of study at any college, you won’t be a freshman applicant anymore.

The transfer should be your last step. Do you try to resolve the problems with your RA, and your advisor?

What if you dont finish a whole year at a college? are you still ineligible for freshman year?

It depends on the college, the definition of a transfer varies with the school. It ranges from as little as 1 post-HS college class (eg. GWU) to less than a year of full time coursework (eg. Yale).

You need to go to the college website for their definition of a transfer applicant.
