Transferring to Harvey MUDD. My chances?

I REALLY want to transfer to Harvey MUDD. It is my dream.

I am a freshman at Texas Tech University, but I am considered a Junior because of the amount of credits I have. I have my associates degree in science.

SAT score: 1510

GPA: 3.2

Education: Richland Community College, Texas Tech University

Academic achievement: Earning associates in science at the same time as graduating from HS

I have over 60 hours of volunteering...but I don't think this matters.

I am actually a math major, but I am just bad at tests. The SAT in particular...I just get so nervous. I work in the math tutoring center on campus so yea.

Do I even have a chance at being admitted to MUDD? I can take the SAT again but that scares me.

What about the other claremont colleges? Are those math oriented? What are my chances of being admitted to them?

Chances are slim no matter how awesome your scores, but you can always transfer to another Claremont College which is easier to get into. You can even major at Mudd if you’re a student at another college. I would apply to transfer to any or all of them and see if you can get in.
