Transferring to McGill

Hey Everyone, I applied to McGill last year and got in, but for some reason decided not to go. I'm currently attending University of Rochester, which I like, but I feel like I need a city experience (Rochester is also a terrible city). Anyways, I'm just wondering what the transfer process is like. From what people have said, is the process difficult? Are there alot of transfer students? Where do transfer students usually live? (Basically just a brief rundown of what the process is like)

I am not sure what the transfer process is like...but as for transferring to McGill - as a former student, my only advice would be check out the program you are applying to. Some of the programs are extremely hard and the class sizes, professors, etc. will be a lot different than what you are used to. If you apply early enough, you can get into residence -- otherwise go to the McGill classifieds and look for roomates -- most students live within 10 minutes from campus (area termed "the ghetto")
