I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has transferred into either on of these schools and entered the business program there (Farmer or Fisher). I'm ready to transfer out of the community college I've attended for the past few years and am extremely interested in both of these schools.

However, I would have to transfer to Miami and then apply to Farmer a semester later (prerequisites that weren't completed at cc). Pretty sure I could apply to Fisher right away though.

Do these programs have good acceptance rates when it comes to students who are already enrolled in that university? And how long did it take you to complete your bachelor's degree after being accepted into the business school?

I graduated from highschool in 2008, spent most of the past 4 years at community college (switched majors, took time off for financial reasons) and working full time as manager of my parents' restaurants. I would like to be finished a degree by the time I'm 25 (May 2015)... wondering how possible this is if I transfer in to one of the schools in Jan 2013. Especially if I don't go right into the business school.

Also, do you have to attend Farmer/Fisher to earn a business degree at one of these schools? Or is that just a more prestigious choice you have?
