Hey guys! I'm currently a student at Brandeis University, and as the title of my thread states, I'm looking into transferring. Northwestern would be my top choice. The whole concept of transferring is new to me; how does it all work? Do they still look at my high school GPA and test scores? How important is it to get involved?

Anyways, I applied to Northwestern as an ED, and got rejected. </3 A friend of mine told me it was easier to transfer to NU as opposed to applying in high school. Is this true? Does anyone have stats for that?

I'm a Poli Sci/History double major, so I guess I'd be applying to WCAS. Based off of midterms (I know this is a stretch), I'm expecting a 3.6-3.8 GPA. In high school, I had something like a 3.5UW/4.1W and a 33 on the ACT. Are my (projected) stats competitive for NU transfers?

If anyone with any experience with the transfer process could help me out, it would be much appreciated. I think I'm going to double-post this in the transfer thread.

Thank you for your time! (:
