I'm a freshman and have my mind set on transferring after a year at my school, I really don't feel comfortable here and realized that this type of college isnt right for me.

I'm applying to more colleges than just NYU but I was wondering, I was accepted when I applied as a freshman, does that mean it's likely that I could be accepted again?

He/she wasn’t asking whether his/her being accepted as a freshman meant automatic admission as a transfer student.

Transfer admission to private universities can sometimes be more selective than freshman admission because the spots for transfer students are opened by those who transfer out. You’ll have to look at the statistics for transfers on your own, but given that you were qualified as a freshman applicant, if you do well your first year at your new school, you should stand a fair chance.
