Now on a side note, I did receive a citation for underage drinking during my 1st semester at Penn State. The case will be dismissed once I take a class. Penn State did not take any action against me. Since then, I've changed my ways and started a club geared towards stopping students from making the same mistake as me.

All in all though, what are my chances?

That’s a great GPA, so you may as well apply, but don’t get your hopes up. The traditional wisdom is that if you were rejected before, you will be again. Concentrate your hopes on other schools (or stay where you are).

thanks for the input, I’m also going to do everything i can to get in touch with the transfer/admissions office to at least put a face on my app

wow. very impressive…except for the citation though. would that do anything?
why do you want to transfer out of schreyer? (just out of curiosity.)

i don’t know, I’m just not very happy at penn state and I’d rather be nearer to home. the common app only asks for the citation if the school takes action against you, so i might not even end up mentioning it
