Hey all, I go to Cornell right now, and I'm not too happy. Now, I am trying to decide if I should apply to Penn this semester or wait until next year (or apply both times). I screwed up my first semester for my standards (3.61 gpa), but I should be able to pull it up to like 3.7-3.75 by next semester. My high school stats were pretty bad (2220 SAT 1430 M/C and top 15% or so). I am Hispanic. I've been taking mostly economics/business courses so far. So, should I bother applying now or should I wait?

Anybody please?

Not too shabby. I don’t see a problem with transferring to Penn as long as you’ve got the “Why I Want to Transfer” essay nailed.
