Transferring to Rutgers (Chances)

I went to a community college for two years, without getting an associate's degree. My GPA is 3.7, and I haven't participated in any extracurricular activities whatsoever. My major is political science and I want to transfer to Rutgers (New Brunswick).

Should I send my SAT scores? Will not sending them hurt my chances of getting? Also, I've heard it's easy to get into Rutgers with a GPA that's above 3.5, is that true? Thanks for helping out!

Bump. Anyone?

From what I’ve heard, you will get in for sure. Also, you aren’t required to submit SAT scores as a transfer student, so unless you did well on the SAT don’t bother sending the scores in.

you should be fine for SAS. Honestly, Rutgers transfer isn’t that selective as you thought. I have my GPA 3.8+ with a very last minute low quality essay (no joke, probably the worst essay i’ve ever wrote), without submitting my SAT score, still got in. Even my transfer advisor told me 3.2 above do have a chance to get in (psychology major). I only put like one activity that I did throughout my two year community college career lol. So I wouldn’t worry about the SAT, but try to obtain an associate degree, because English courses they don’t transfer to Rutgers without an associate degree.
