If I attend U of Warwick, a top-10 college in England which ranks in the top 5 for my specific subject (econ), how difficult will it be to transfer to Wharton, Brown, Stanford, Harvard and Yale for sophomore admission?

I have a decent school record, good AP scores, and an SAT I of 2180 (760M, 690V, 730WR, 12 Essay) and SAT IIs of 760/750. I'm also an international student (Norwegian citizen of Indian ethnicity).

bump guys...so many views and no response?

i think you are a very strong applicant with great stats
but for these schools especially harvard, yale, and standford, no one except the adcom can know your exact chance at admission..
so, if you have great gpa and ecs along with amzing essays and recs from professors.. then go for it~!
you might be admitted into all or not who knows?
anywayz~ good luck~!!

Thanks! But specifically, applying from abroad - is it a positive or negative thing?

percentage-wise, it is probably harder to transfer from abroad
however, there are still many people applying from abroad and get admissions
and i don't think it is necessarily a negative thing.. for example, imagine a person got 2200 on the sat and that person was born and has been living in the us all his/her life... and another person got 2200 on the sat and that person was born in a country other than us and has not lived in the us at all.... then the adcom would probably give more credits to the second person.. you see what i mean?

hope this helps~!
