<p>Hello, my name is Byron Ashley. I am thinking of transferring to U of A in the fall 2015. As someone coming from out of state I’m a little worried about making friends. Anyone have an opinion on a good way to meet people or how easy it is to make friends? Would you generally consider the people at U of A nice? Also, is U of A a fun campus, even if you aren’t in greek life? Thank You. </p>
<p>U of A is great college and campus, but its big so you have to throw yourself into stuff, try Sophos you have to apply but they are a great group. Greek is BIG and if you feel so inclined yes its a great and very powerful network of folks, you can rush in August or January. if you dont do Greek, then yes you really have to try hard to find your niche just like any other school, dont be a shrinking violet and you;ll be fine.
