Transferring to UCLA

Greetings Everyone,

I'm new to College Confidential and wanting to get the details about UCLA Mass Communications Program. I've heard that UCLA has a great film program and I'm ready to dig deeper from the students who attended, currently attending. I'm ready to transfer my major is film/television and a minor in acting, because basically I'm tired of wasting my money at the university that I attended. The program isn't that great, teachers are incompetent, rude, and unwilling to help students, expect you to learn everything on your own and the students are lazy, unmotivated, and very immature. I want the full details about the program that includes the teachers, students, and programs, computers, and production equipment the program has. I'm very hard working, willing to learn my craft, and enjoy working behind the camera, and editing. I'm just ready to move on to a better program with better staff (teachers) and students. I appreciate your help guys and look forward to hearing from your. Thank you so very much

The degree you want is one in Film & Television, not Communications. The degree in Communications is a liberal-arts degree akin to a major in History or English. The program you want is probably this one: [Undergraduate Film BA | UCLA School of TFT](Undergraduate Film BA - UCLA School of TFTUCLA School of TFT)

You can find out more about the school on this link: [Prospective Students | UCLA School of TFT](Prospective Students - UCLA School of TFTUCLA School of TFT) If you are in the LA area they have info sessions, including one coming up in a few days.
