Transferring to UNC

Hello I'm a second semester freshmen at ECU and I just finished my transfer application to UNC and they have already received everything. I got a 3.8 first semester and I have a 3.3 for my highschool GPA also very good activities and legacy. I was wondering if I could get into UNC for my sophomore year. Please let me know if I have a shot. I will have 31 credit hours after this semester.

are you a North Carolina resident?

Yes I have lived in north carolina all my life.

I'd say you have a pretty good chance. Are your test scores good or do they waive them?

Well my test scores are pretty low they are 1050 out of 1600 but i heard they don't weigh that much.

Yeah, I'd say you have a solid shot. Considering you're from NC, would you happen to know how much Elon looks into transfer students SAT scores?

I heard it was easy to transfer to Elon because one of my friends did, ill ask him his sat and gpa.

I have one other question i got a first offense alcohol violation at ecu, but i wrote the explination and it was a case that i was in the room and it wasn't even mine, i didn't know i could have appealed it until it was too late. do you think that will kill my application i mean the judical person said it wasn't a big deal what do you think?

The violation most likely will not hurt your chances considering it was a miss understanding. However, be very clear on this matter. If you are "wishy washy" about the facts, the might not be as susceptible to accept you.
