Transferring

Hi, thanks for taking the chance to look at my post. As everyone knows, the college application process can be both exciting and upsetting. As you might’ve guessed, I’m posting this because as so many, I was rejected by 6/11 colleges. I am currently enrolled at Wheaton College ma, with close to a full scholarship. I am strongly considering trying to transfer to Brandeis University or Boston College.

Would it be easier to transfer after my first or second year? and is it harder to transfer to these schools than applying in highschool?

Why do you want to transfer? From what I have heard Wheaton is pretty good, and tends towards small classes (which to me seems to be a significant advantage).

Does Wheaton have a good program in your major, and what is your major?

What was your high school GPA and what is your college GPA? If you transfer after two years your high school GPA will matter a lot less, when compared to transferring after one year.

Also, “close to a full scholarship” is a big deal. What can you afford without taking on any debt?
