Me again...just wondering if it looks bad to transfer more than once. I started of at a CC, and I am starting my sophomore year at Umass. I was thinking about trying to transfer to Tufts or Wellesley my junior year. Will this look bad or will it just show that I progressed? Thanks

They will look at all your scores, so as long as you do well at all three places, I can't see how that could harm you. As an illustrative extreme, they wouldn't look at someone with a 4.0 from Wellesley and say, "Oh, she transferred twice. Received good grades, but alas, transferred twice. Next!"

The biggest way that I can imagine you being impacted is by teacher recommendations, since other people might have four years to form relationships with their professors.

I did not go to Wellesley myself, but I had a few friends that did who I visited often. If you are thinking of transferring there it is a fantastic school. I could not recommend it more highly. The classes are amazing, the people are very cool, and it is overall just a fun place to be. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, it helps alot. I just didn't want them to think I couldn't make up my mind or something.
