College confidential? Seems a lot more then last year. When I talked to SCA a couple months ago the woman said they accepted about 25 transfers! Still low but so many from CC</p>

<p>I think they said we sign up for classes at orientation. Apparently you meet with an advisor and they give you some guidance and all that stuff. Did you get and email about registering for orientation? Glad to hear you’re going to SCA! Look forward to meeting you.</p>
<p>yeah! I just signed up for the international students orientation, but it is pretty late (aug 15). Don’t we have to pay before that date?.. I don’t know… I’ll probably call admissions… my dad keeps asking me about how/when he has to pay,scholarships, and the 10th month payment plan… and it freaks him that I don’t have an accurate answer… :P</p>
<p>Awesome! Yah that date is pretty late… It looks like you have to be all payed up by august 19th, but I’m not sure if it’s the same for international students. I had some trouble finding the info as well, but couldn’t find anything specific to international payment.</p>

<p>hey guys what do we do after the enrollment box shows up, I did the waiver thing and now its gone. Do I just sit and wait for a letter or something? </p>
<p>also, how is everyone planning on paying for film school? Am I the only one going to take out those scary loans?</p>
<p>Within a few days youll receive an email requesting you to sign up for orientation and in that same email it will prompt you to activate your usc email account. With financial aid your not the only one. I’m also contemplating in using those loans :-/ </p>

<p>I think it’s safe to say that there are very few people out there who can afford USC’s tuition without some sort of aid. I’m planning on doing the loans as well… Your’re not alone aliofbabylon. Congrats on your acceptance; welcome to SCA!</p>

<p>Thanks guys, it’s nice knowing I’m not alone in this. I’m taking a summer class for usc that won’t end until july 7 so I think I will do the second transfer orientation day. I’m coming from texas so I think I will be doing the early arrival thing</p>

<p>I personally don’t want to take out any loans. I have applied for a crap-load of scholarships (and actually managed to get 5 for next year so far!), and I am banking on covering whatever might be left over with contest winnings and more scholarships. My EFC is extremely low, so I don’t expect to have to cover too much on my own. It’s a little late to apply for most scholarships for the Fall 2011 semester, but I encourage all of you, especially the production students, to at least enter video contests- a great resource is <a href=“http://www.vidopp.com-%5B/url%5D”>www.vidopp.com-</a> it’s great experience and great prizes/exposure if you win! I won two contests posted on that website while I was still in high school, so it is very possible for anyone who has access to a camera.</p>
<p>I just got my housing assignment- A one bedroom in La Sorbenne to be shared with this one kid. Soooo I’m going to look around on my own, cause I think the price is a little steep for such close quarters, but I ain’t trippin too hard.</p>

<p>Only one of my scholarships is from the university (one that I applied for in February). I haven’t received my FA package yet. It’s too late to apply for most of these for Fall 2011, but here is the link to standard USC scholarships, some of which you are automatically considered for, and some of which, like the one I got, you have to apply for separately:</p>

<p>Hey guys, I send the response committing to take the classes mentioned in the letter that sca sent us, and I received a confirmation that they had it… But at the myusc page it still appears an announcement with a key saying that the sca had placed an permit to register… Do you still have that same announcement???</p>
