I’m aware of the title of the thread; the question is still ambiguous.

@aigiqinf if you read the title…You would realize that those who are recently accepted are trying to see if they can sign up for housing.

The question itself is vague because Emory offers many options for upperclassmen, in addition to the option of living off campus. Go here for info on transfer housing [Undergraduate Housing :: Info for Transfer Students](<a href=“Residence Life and Housing Operations | Emory University | Atlanta GA”>Residence Life and Housing Operations | Emory University | Atlanta GA)

It’s just in this thread…for transfer students…I don’t think I needed to have put “has any transfer students who have been accepted right now received information about transfer housing.”

It’s clear that someone in this thread who is transferring is interested in housing. It’s not clear what they want to know.

By “Can anyone sign up for housing?” you could be asking “Is everyone, even if they’re a transfer student, permitted to register for housing?” You could be asking if anyone has been able to sign up for housing yet. You could be asking if you could sign up for housing with a graduate student that you know. The list goes on.

[Undergraduate Housing :: Info for Transfer Students](Residence Life and Housing Operations | Emory University | Atlanta GA)

The link above should tell you more or less what you need to know. Importantly, if you’re a sophomore transfer, you are required to live on campus and are guaranteed housing. If you’re a junior transfer, you are neither required to live on campus nor are you guaranteed housing. There are also limitations on dorms by class standing. If you’re a junior, you’re effectively going to live in Clairmont (which is actually off campus proper, with transportation by a shuttle system).

You should also consider the possibility of off campus housing, though it’s a bit more of a pain to coordinate as a transfer student being away from campus. However, off-campus housing is far cheaper.

Then why would I say that in this thread and not the general forum? I was obviously addressing the transfers students in this thread. Not in the general Emory forum but in the “transfer” thread where we all got accepted. If you go into a room and see your friends and ask “does anyone want pizza?” You are obviously not saying “does anyone in this building/country/universe want pizza.”

Since we have been accepted, I was asking if anyone had received any email about housing that permits them to sign up for housing.

Take it easy guys.
Now we can log in the OPUS, email, …there are a lot of information that we need to know. I also recommend you guys trying to log in the blackboard. There are also a lot of things you need to know(including housing).

@addl312 I’m sweet man, his all shook - writing a whole essay. It’s cool though I got my housing stuff. Thanks.
I’m out peace.
