I haven't heard yet. When was your application completed?

GT2 -- which school did you apply to? and for what major?

i completed a long time ago, maybe back in february or march? i applied to the college of arts and sciences as an econ major.

GT2, ...even with your final transcript?

lol. we're all interrogating poor GT2

i never sent them a final transcript, they didnt ask for it.

Why GT? Northwestern has a better and top-10 econ dept. :)

i haven't decided yet for sure. im waiting to see if i get off the waitlist at columbia.

Heard from Northwestern today, and I'll be heading there in the fall! I was admitted to SESP. (I live in a suburb of Chicago, to ease any mailing woes.)

Congratulation!!!

congrats! :)

I applied as a transfer.. ChemE major.. I completed my application a couple of weeks back, and sent in my final transcript in June first week..

I can no longer check the status of my application online using my App ID code and email add.. It says App ID code not found.. What does this mean?

How do you come to know about their decision? Do they notify you by regular mail or can you check online?

Yeah, I was supposed to log in to the application website again to set up my NetID, but I got the same message. I called technical support, but nobody answered/returned my call.

My application, with final transcript, was completed May 26.

I was notified through regular mail. It never told me online.

My application including the final transcript was completed on June 10th, when can I expect a decision?

mine was completed on june 1st, and i still havn't received a decision, expecting maybe this week? so im guessing june 10th would still have some time. as for checking the decision, their app status website says that decisions are shown on the site as soon as the decision is mailed to you, maybe they abide by this maybe they dont, who knows?

waits

...

I heard back like 10 days ago or so, my dad forwarded the materials from my house to where I am in India for the summer. I got in, so I'll definately be there in the fall as a biology major and not have to choose between Vandy and UNC like earlier. Good luck to those who haven't heard if they're still making decisions or anything. I think my dad said something about 600 applying and 100 being accepted but I dont know where he got those numbers. my application was completed like May 23 with final transcript.

I'm still waiting. My app was completed on May 17th, and I've called like a trillion times... no decision as of yet.

Oh, and I read the NU admission stats on collegeboarc.com. They said NU normally has around 600 applicants, and accepts around 200. I assume the applicants are very competitive, because that acceptance rate seems a bit high. Anyone know anything about this? Not that it really matters. I am sure, unless this year is unique, that NU does not accept only 100 out of around 600 (or at least that's what collegeboard says).

if you havnt heard yet, ill ease your anxiousness and tell you that my rejection letter said that over 700 applied this year for approximately 100 spaces. if thats not a pretty competitive acceptance rate, i dont know what is. good luck..

I STILL haven't heard from them yet! What's up??

Do you think the point that my app was officially completed on June 17th might be the reason? It wasn't my fault, because NU sent a required form to the wrong address....

ARGH. do you think this will affect the likeliness of my getting in?

Anyone else who's still not heard from them yet? Damn it, this wait has strung out wayyyy too long for me (since January.) I think I've been patient long enough! I just want this to end so I can know what's going on for me next year! I'm so sick of looking forward towards constant uncertainty.
