Transportation question: Shuttle to Smith campus?

For students who have to fly to and from Smith, where is the best/easiest place to fly into? Hartford? Is there a shuttle service to get to/from the airport, or does one have to hire uber or a taxi?

Hartford is what we use. She books a shuttle- Valley transport? Booking it online a couple of days ahead of time saves some money.

Looks like $53 one way, door to door. Plus tip. 15% surcharge if booked less than 48 hours prior to pickup.

There is often a central drop off spot. Maybe the campus center area? sorry I am so vague about it

If your student ends up attending Smith- I purchase the Thanksgiving tickets in August or September in order to save money. I usually purchase the ticket home for winter break in October or early November. Even if she doesn’t know her exam schedule I buy the ticket for the day she has to be out. She can wait around and do holiday shopping. Planning the flights ahead of time saves money.
