Travel Study vs. Study Abroad

<p>I'm planning to study abroad in Summer 2011 but I've just recently heard about the one month, more category specific Travel Study program.</p>

<p>I honestly do not really care where I go and price isn't that much of a concern so, I was wondering, what have people heard about these two programs? Is one better than the other during the summer? </p>

<p>Also, I know no one who wants to study abroad/do travel study; is it relatively difficult to connect with other people in these programs? </p>

<p>Just general opinions and experiences would be appreciated! Thank you! :)</p>

<p>I don’t know people who have done summer terms, but I believe both programs (EAP and Travel study) have intensive language courses.</p>

<p>I just think one month is way too short, if you want to appreciate the culture and learn language, the longer the better. Even a quarter is too short, a year is more ideal.</p>
