I’m applying to the 2015 Trials Pre-Law Program!
I’m also applying for TRIALS summer 2015!
So am I. Don’t mean to be a downer, but taper your expectations. It’s expremely competetive–this is my third time applying. This not to say you won’t get it; i dont know you. But I was crushed the first couple of times I was rejected.
I sent in my application last week…super nervous!
Great good luck to you!
@Blueblades
Are you familiar with how the application process works? Do they only request additional information from students they’re interested in?
I received an email last week form TRIALS requesting more information.
I was also wondering about this. They asked me for letters, transcripts, and score reports last week. I’d appreciate any insights as well.
@botswana2014 Hey what scores did you submit to the program and were your scores high
I submitted ACT and SAT scores from 2009 using the online PDF score reports. I’ll message you the exact scores.
Hey! I also applied to the 2015 TRIALS and I was wondering if anyone had heard back yet? I sent them an email and I got a response saying they would try to let most applicants know by April 3rd, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Do they ask for all our transcripts and references before the April 15th date or after? I’m assuming that if I haven’t heard anything yet that I was not accepted. Just wondering what others thought…
I haven’t heard anything at all either, but I submitted my application the last day, so maybe that’s why.
I have my interview today in about 10 minutes! I submitted my application back in December, found out about submitting transcripts, LORs, and scores around March 7, submitted those materials March 20, and found out about my interview date around March 24. I’ll let you know after the interview if they say anything about the timeline.
Good luck, botswana2014!
@botswana2014 How did your interview go? Did they mention anything about the timeline?
@Polinter I also submitted my app on the last day, idk if that makes a difference. They didn’t say anything about rolling acceptance
The interview went well (I think). It was very conversational, no real tricks. The interview was only one person, Elizabeth. She was really great to talk to. She said there were > 2,000 applications, 100 would be interviewed, and 20 would be selected. As far as timeline, she said that if you interviewed before April 15, you would have a decision on or before next Wednesday. I guess that means they might continue to interview people after that time if they haven’t filled up 20 spots by then…that’s just my speculation. It seems like they take a very thorough approach to each application, so the timeline is probably different for each one. Good luck to all of you!
Has anyone been accepted yet?
@Polinter @botswana2014 have you guys heard back yet?? I still haven’t heard anything!
I was accepted! I found out via email last night.
