Looking forward to the application process and seeing if any of us hears back!

Hey! I’m applying to! Have you submitted your application already?

Hey! I just submitted my application. What about you?

@aspirationss I’m going back to my University Writing Center so they can look over it one more time, but after that, I plan on submitting it! What’s your major? Are you a sophomore as well? (I’m communication) How did you find out about TRIALS? I literally don’t see anyone talking about it on Twitter or Facebook, but I happened to stumble on it when looking for summer law programs.

Good luck! I’m a Health Care Management major  I’m a sophomore (as in I’m in my second year), but by classification, I’m a junior. I found out about the program also searching for pre law programs.

@Daniprelaw

I don’t have high expectations because I know the program is super competitive. Just giving it a shot!

@aspirationss Sorry for the late response, I checked to see if you replied this morning, and for some reason I couldn’t see your comments.
But yeah I totally understand, I know its competitive but for some reason I can’t stop myself from being hopeful!

Do you go to an HBCU? I go to Texas A&M, so I’m hoping that won’t affect my chances. I know that they give special attention to those who attend schools where only one gets into Harvard or NYU per year. My school has almost 70,000 students in it, so the chances that only one person gets into either school is sort of low.
But other than that I totally meet the requirements! I’m a minority, first generation, and I come from a low-income background. Hopefully I won’t be judged too harshly (or at all) because of my school!

It’s okay  I actually went to Howard for my first year, but I transferred to a state school. Not many students in my school apply to law school, so I’m not sure that many (if any) individuals from my school go to Harvard/NYU per year. I meet the requirements as well. I think you should be fine! The fact that you go to a bigger school won’t automatically disqualify you. Good luck!

Oh! Are we supposed to list out our stats? I completely forgot about that

You totally don’t have to if you don’t want!

Last day to apply to trials, anybody else here who’s submitted their application?

I applied a while back. I don’t come from an HBCU, nor have a 4.0, or any other “privileged” eligibility either than my school being LMU. I tried and I believe in myself. However, I know this pipeline program is aimed at HBCU’s so if that helps anyone understand their position between now and April. Keep your head up. There are multiple pre-law programs if you put the time to look for them. Harvard trials is prestigious, but, should not be looked at as the only opportunity for you going to an ivy-league.

@darlenez Thanks! And what other pre-law programs are you applying to? I know that Duke has one, and the application is due in March (I believe). I’m thinking of applying, but I really want to get into TRIALS so that’s, of course, is my main choice.

Think about applying to the LSAC PLUS Programs as well; you can find info on lsac’s website. I believe there are 6 or 7 programs at various law schools. Some require you to be a rising sophomore or junior with below 60 credits though, for others it’s only a recommendation

Anyone receive anything?

Nope, haven’t heard of anything yet. But I’m not going to start to worry until it gets closer to April

I emailed them and I haven’t heard anything back. This is so stressful. Hearing anything at this point would be great, even if it’s just “we haven’t gotten to your application yet”

I applied too in mid January. Still nothing. What’s their email ? Is it on the website?
