Hi all: Anyone apply to TRIALS? Any status updates on the application process and whether finalists have already been notified? Thanks!

Hey ianposts! When did you have your interview? I am also a finalist but have not heard anything.

Anyone care to share what they know about the status of their application? Last year were decisions released sooner than the official decision date?

Hi GoLAWgo11 when did Trials let you know you were a finalist? Congrats and good luck! :)

Hey all! I’ve been waiting anxiously to hear from Trials for months! GoLAWgo11, you say you’ve already heard back that you’re a finalist? Congrats to you, but when did you get the notice?

I have also applied and am waiting to hear back! I am not sure if they select the finalist before the April 15th decision or after. I wish everyone the best of luck though!! :)

Has anyone heard back from them? Acceptance, Rejection, Finalists?

I haven’t heard back yet. I know that when I once emailed them with a question the lady who responded said they would notify us by April 15 or sooner if possible, and it lists that same date on the website too. But I’m not sure if they mean they’ll contact finalists for interviews by then or if they’ll have chosen the few actual recipients by then. This is getting bad, I feel like I check my email every 30 mins!

I was contacted in early March for an interview(considered part of the finalist pool).

Was just notified that I have been accepted!

Good luck to all! :)

Aww well if it was early March that they set up interviews I guess my chances are shot. Maybe next year. Congrats to you though GoLAWgo11!

Got the call last week. See you guys in Boston.

I applied last year and got a rejection on March 29th. This year, I have yet to hear back and the deadline for a response is on Monday, April 15th!!! IDK what that means…some folks have said that they have already been interviewed or contacted for an interview. Any chance that April 15th will provide only acceptance letters? Anyone else in my boat?

Lawyer2Be I’m in the same situation. I’ve been waiting and waiting, hoping for the best. But I have yet to hear anything either and I feel like even if they didn’t interview some people that they would still inform you that you were selected as a finalist. So at this point, I’m prepared for rejection (even though I desperately wanted to get into Trials). And it sucks for me because I realized that I couldn’t even apply for another 3 years because I plan to study abroad for a whole year from July 2014-July 2015, so the program will already be underway by the time I leave and by the time I return. This is so discouraging :(

I am just are worried as you two are! I think it’s unfair that they have already started selecting people WITHOUT reviewing ALL applications first. Elizabeth said there are students who have not heard back from them yet because they haven’t reviewed their application yet. But I think this is unfair because, What if they select some winners now and then later come across an applicant who is more qualified than the person who they initially accepted? That’s not right! Winners should be selected AFTER they went through all applications!

AmbitiousLawyer did you recently email to find out what’s been going on, and then they gave you that information? I agree that it doesn’t seem fair to choose as you go since there are such limited spaces but think of it this way: if they really haven’t finished reviewing all apps yet–and they didn’t just tell you that just to give you an answer–and you have yet to hear back, maybe you still have a chance!

Well I got my rejection notice just now. Good luck to everyone else and congrats to those who were accepted.

I got my rejection email this morning. Congrats to all those who are accepted!

So if folks received emails of rejection today, that would mean that they are still reviewing applications correct? I had an interview already and I’m still waiting to be notified of an acceptance or rejection. I see some people have already been accepted as well so not sure what to think at this point. Must be accepting finalists on a rolling basis. Wonder what my chances are

Hi Kiana93, when did you submit yourb application for Trials. I wonder if they are contacting people on a first come, first served basis

For those of you who have been accepted, have you heard from the Trials program since?

Can anyone who has already been contacted or rejected let me know what day did they submit their application. I’m still waiting on a response too, I have yet to be contactacted for anything
