Tricks of the Trade - Orientation??

I skipped orientation, and just called the counselor for my dept. and set an appointment with her to talk about the process. I got her undivided attention and loads of help, and didn't have to pay an extra $150 or however much.

Orientation is the mean for the students to get comfortable around the campus and get a feel of the campus social life, not just only for registration. At orientation, you will also make friends especially the ones in the same major that you later on will study with them again.

Also, for those who have gona to the orientation, how do you think about the experience. Does it worth going there? What do you like most/least?
