only two of us?

that's cool by me :)

Hey I might join you guys next year! I'm a junior this year, but I really like Trinity.

I am also international, technically. I am native from Colombia. I have a few questions for you guys. Has anyone of you actually bee in the school? Im a little worried about the "preppy reputation". How is the campus? I've read various different reports on dorms, some people say they're great, some say they suck. What can you guys tell me about the school and what made you decide to apply here?

Thanks

Im applying ED but given your stats I dont think Ill get in :p

Ive never been to the campus but ive spent a lot of time researching it and talking to people in my community who know of trinity or who went there, and ive gotten a very positive reaction. I want to go there because they are strong in social sciences [I want a poli-sci major]. Also, I like smaller settings, and I find that trinity is neither too small nor too large. As for the dorms, my 'research' has shown me that while they are not the greatest on earth, they are certainly better than many colleges', and that most student housing buildings are very good - there are 1 or 2 less-than-desirable places. Finally I get to fin-aid. Im poor - and as far as living in New York state goes, Im VERY poor. Regardless of what college(s) I get accepted to, my decision will have to be based on financial aid offers - and trinity is known for its excellent fin-aid program.

As for preps, I can hold my own with them but by myself I am nothing of the sort - if we both happen to end up at trinity give me a hoot - I'll be one person you can count on to not be running around campus with a popped collar and a brand new SUV from mommy and daddy.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Well, my stats are no where near close to these guys above anyway, but I think by the time I apply I'll have a good chance to get in...
and definetely, my main concern is $$$$, I need lots of finacial aid.

Are you a Junior or a Senior? What are your stats? It might make me feel better to know im not the only one whose not 1500+, top 3%, etc.

3.2 gpa (I screwed around through Junior year, but am working my ass off this year and will have a 3.8gpa at the end of this semester)
