Hi everybody.

Lately I have been interested in Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. I just learned the other day that they have an Engineering Science major with concentrations in some of the traditional majors.
I was wondering if anyone really knew about this program and how would it compare to some of the other schools.
I know it's ABET accredited and it says it ranked highly on the USNWR rankings for schools with bachelors or masters as highest degree, but USNWR is lame.

So I would greatly appreciate an answer from people who know about the program.

Thank you!

Oh, I’m in SA. It’s a good school here, like pretty known in the area, I don’t know about outside TX. They have an electrical engineering program but I don’t think they really have other big ABET accredited engineering majors. It’s on the north side of the town, really nice facilities and a good amount of scholarships (but I don’t know if for out of state). Good small private college basically. UTSA and Trinity are the only ones in the city that offer any ABET accredited majors. Oh, and you’ll love fiesta and the food and San Antonio. Everyone coming to the colleges always end up staying here, they really like the city. And getting a job here from Trinity will not be hard at all.

It’s not really known at all outside of Texas. In fact, it’s not that well known outside of San Antonio. When I worked in Houston, I had heard of it, but did not know it even had an engineering program.

FWIW, none of their disciplines are accredited, they are only accredited for a general engineering program.
