Trinity

So basically I have started working on schools in NYC, I posted a thread a while ago about schools in NJ but I decided that it would be a bit more interesting to commute and go to school down in New York... So I'll ask the same question I have asked before?

Whats a general list of top schools in New York City

Right now I have,

Horace Mann
Trinity School
The Dalton School
Collegiate School New York
Brearley School

Any others that belong here?

brearley should be on ur list

Spence

tenchar

horace mann is ultra ultra ultra super dee duper competitive. that’s all i’m going to say :X

if you’re looking for a progressive school, look into fieldston. their financial aid is also arguably one of the most generous in nyc.
not sure if riverdale / fieldston are quite up to par with trinity, but they’re worth taking a good look at. ( :

Riverdale is quite easily on par with every school except for Brearley/Collegiate/ HM

there is really so little difference between the other top schools.

Riverdale also has unique english and history course for 11th grade

called constructing america in which you have two periods a day its like a more intense AP US history, that is required. it also has arguably the hardest required senior year course Introduction to liberal studies (ILS). which is about the evolution of modern philosophical thought.

Hewitt.
Poly prep.

time out
how can you have both collegiate and brearley on your list ? :-)
