<p>Son moving to Palo Alto to work for a bit......taking a leave of absence for 1 semester. He is 18, never lived alone. He would have to find accommodations on his own, does not drive. Although I am happy for him I cannot stop worrying being thousands of miles away.</p>

<p>Thanks all! Yes he is very excited to start something he has always wanted to do. He had a few offers and I just could not hold him back. Hope it works out for him and he is happy, what else can parents want?!</p>
<p>My only worry at this point is that he should go back to college soon to get a degree.</p>
