I got accepted to UCLA as a fall admit (psychobiology major) and UC Berkeley as a spring admit (undeclared, college of letters and science). I've fallen in love with both schools; however, I have a band based in San Diego/Los Angeles that I'm deeply committed to (we're fortunate to have amazing connections). Would it be wise to let Berkeley go and make the more practical choice of going to UCLA? Or is Berkeley's reputation and environment totally worth the hassle?

If you’ve really fallen in love with both schools, why is Berkeley’s environment a big deal? For the life sciences, I don’t think Berkeley’s reputation makes a difference.

I understand where you’re coming from Wall-E, but I’m bumping this thread just so I can hopefully get a few more opinions

maroon 5 2.0?

Hahaha, nice, Deuces. Half of them went to UCLA, right?
