Trouble with amount of foreign language credits...

I’m having a major dilemma, mid-summer. Long story short I’m taking Spanish 2 online this summer through apex. I’ve completed the first semester ($350), but I have been recently told that I will not be able to afford the second semester(another $350). Problem is, I have to take spanish 3 this coming school year, my junior year. What do I do? I cannot take the second semester during the school year, I’m busy enough as it is. Would it be okay with high-profile universities if I self studied the second semester and just went ahead with spanish 3? Or should I try to take spanish 3 my senior year and do my best to finish the spanish 2 during my junior…? My family has serious financial problems right now, and It will be obvious to the colleges I’ll be applying to. Thanks for any help you can offer!
P.S. If anybody knows of a free online program or financial aid or something, that would be even better.

You could get a job at McDonald’s and earn the tuition in about three weeks.

You don’t have to take Spanish 2.
If the college requires 3 years, they just mean you have to take a level 3 High school course. The prerequisite classes Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 are not required.
So you could just skip Spanish 2 and even Spanish 1 and just start with Spanish 3.
I would self study so you won’t be behind since you didn’t take Spanish 2. Get rosetta stone or something.

Any of your friends native or heritage Spanish speakers? Perhaps they can help you study the second half of Spanish 2 so that you can go into Spanish 3.
