All right...this is my first thread on cc.So if I am supposed to post some where else, just tell me.I am an international student.
I have been accepted to troy university and I have been give full scholarship(tuition, room and board). So how is this university?I applied for spring semester so I don't have much time to think.
I do not care for rankings as such.I definitely am no Ivy material but as I require huge financial aid or scholarship my options are limited.
My ultimate goal is to do Phd so does doing my bachelors (probably chemistry) from Troy hamper my chances for a reputable Phd program?

Hey!!i will also apply for Troy as an international!!well, the fact is that you just have to get a good GPA and excellent knowledge in your field.A student with excellent knowledge is always appreciated everywhere. So,as you got full ride, just go for explosive studies!Anyway, what was your CR+Math? goodluck :)

Are you applying for fall?
As I am admitted for spring there is less competition.I gave ACT and got 31.I guess you are right.I should go for it.

ya this fall,do you know any other colleges like troy that offer full ride to internationals?it would help

There are,but they are mostly competitive.Look for a thread called Automatic Full Ride/Full Tuition by Bob Wallace. He practically covers every possible scholarship there is.Do check out each college specifically though as some may not have scholarships for international students.

ok and Thanks

I’ll be attending Troy for the Fall 2016 semester. I got a full tuition scholarship with 1370(CR+Math) in old SAT.
Didn’t you do research about this school before you applied??
