According to the collegeboard website, the girl-to guy ratio is 62% women and 38% men.
Has anyone seen different figures that may be more recent/accurate?

To current students:

Do you feel this is accurate? Is it obvious during your daily life at NYU that there is such an unbalance (if there is..)?

its true. However there are very few attractive girls at nyu, and the few that are date upperclassmen or outside of nyu. Plus you don't have tons of sorority girls that easily put out like in other school. So have fun.

my friend is majoring in speech pathology (hes a male male model and former professional tennis player), hes the only make out of like 30 people. lucky bast*rd. steinhardt women are HOT also.

Yes, the guy to girl ratio is accurate. De facto, it's more like 8 girls to 1 guy (factoring in gay men). However, it wont help you in the least bit. (I'm assuming you're a guy).

wow, i thought that girls would completely overpower the guys but i'm a sternie so its reversed? interesting. i always thought business was a more feminine major and medicine/engineering was manly. i guess i was wrong.

Actually I'm female, attending Stern next year. Is it easy to meet guys outside of NYU? I mean dateable ones, not the one-nighters you meet from a club or something.
