So I just graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and pretty much hate it, so I'm currently attending my same school with a major in Biochemistry which I could complete in two years. The thing is, I'd like to go into Chemical Engineering but my school doesn't have an Engineering program. A larger state school than the one I attend does, however, and I could get a Master's in the field with a B.S. in Biochem if I complete a semester's worth of Engineering coursework beforehand. I could transfer into their undergraduate program but that would extend my Bachelor's completion to 3 years plus.
Basically, would I be better off getting a B.S. in Biochemistry and then a M.S. in the aforementioned field, or transferring as an undergrad and getting a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering?

As a side note, I only need 18 courses for the Biochem as opposed to 27 if I transferred; so basically I could also double major/minor if I stay at the same school.
