Trying to get job on Wall st

Hi I am ultimately trying to work for a hedge fund company after I graduate college. What should I major in college which will give me the best chance and should I go to graduate school? I believe I will be either in a lower tier ivy or top liberal arts school (Williams, amherst, middlebury) or Chicago. Thank you for your advice in advance

Going to a top school is important. Major does not matter that much as long as it is not something obviously easy. Getting a top GPA is important, 3.5 or higher. Top ranked school, high GPA and challenging major as well as some extracurriculars. That may get you an interview for an internship.

Good luck
