I’m a business administration major. I think I have a 3.1 gpa and I’m pretty much almost done with my requirements. Going to apply to some CSU’s like Fullerton, San Marcos, Cal Poly SLO and Pomona, SDSU, SJSU. I’m just wondering if I have a real chance at getting into any of these schools. I know my gpa isn’t all that but had a rough first year of college and was kinda lost but my second year overall went great and coming into the third year with the same hopes.
Are you within the local service area of any of these schools? You get priority for being local.

Below is the average transfer CSU GPA for each CSU campus to get an idea of your chances. You can also look at decision threads from this year and see how your GPA stacks up to admitted students.
If you are not within the local service area for Cal Poly SLO or SDSU, your chances are not great since they will be the most competitive campuses for your major and GPA.
The SJSU links outlines the transfer requirements required for all majors: https://www.sjsu.edu/admissions/impaction/transfer-impaction-results/index.php#BusAdmin
Apply widely and add maybe another less competitive CSU to your list.
Best of luck.
