So, I am aware that it’s very tough to transfer from out of state colleges. I went to an OOS 4-year institution for two years and then left after spring 2015 due to $$ and not feeling satisfied with the breadth of my program. I am CA resident and whole family lives in CA. I moved to the bay area and got a summer engineering internship that became a year long internship and eventually a full time job. I have been working full time ever since but I dream of transferring to Berkeley. I’m taking classes at a CCC to fulfill prereqs and make up for courses that I expect won’t transfer. Question is, am I considered an OOS student, or a CCC student if my most recent school is CCC but most of my credits are from OOS school? Is there hope for me? Aaah! I am a woman CS major, 22 years old with a college GPA of 3.9 and 2100 SAT but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to go to a good school my first time around because my HS grades were bad due to a medical treatment I underwent throughout high school. Is there hope for me?
