My daughter was accepted and is guaranteed only three years of housing. I wonder if that will change since they built the new dorm? And I thibk thwybare building another new dorm? Also does anyone know what percentage of students live on the newton campus and if you can request to be on main campus??
@immomtoone I think the new dorm will make more students who are not guaranteed able to stay on campus but it probably won’t change a 3 year guarantee to a 4 year
Approximately half of the Frosh live on Newton. You can request main campus, but unless you volunteer for a forced triple, it is unlikely to be accomodated.
Where can you see if you were offered 4 years of housing?
My nephew was only offered three years of housing. Another poster said that many juniors live off campus and then come back for senior year. Is it really difficult to find housing for the off-year? And when BC says housing is guaranteed for three years, do they mean any three years or is it only guaranteed for three consecutive years?
@yeeezussss It is in the admissions decision letter. You can also look on the portal:
How can I find out if I have three or four years of housing?
The information is available on the Agora Portal. Log on to the portal, click on “My Reslife,” then “Web Forms,” and finally “Assignment History.”
@Emsmom1 You can find info on finding housing for the off-year here:
