TSocash- Does scholarship information come with the financial aid info?

I have not received information about either and received my acceptance last Monday. I know that a lot of people do not receive scholarships but I was just wondering if they come together.

Scholarship (if you received one) is 7 business days after you received your acceptance letter.

Financial Aid/Aid Package and information is 10 business days after acceptance letter.

Will the packet be mailed in 7 business days or received in 7 business days?

Mail might have been delayed with the recent holiday (I’m not sure about that), but most people who are awarded a merit scholarship typically receive their merit letter seven business days after they receive their admit letter. Remember, the farther you live from Rochester, the longer the delay. The 7-day estimate is just that, an estimate. You can always call the Admissions Office if you have any concerns.

I was informed by a Financial Aid Counselor that financial aid information is actually sent separately via email notification, which prompts you to check FA Online to view your Financial Aid Package from Rochester. It is sent to the email that you provided Rochester during your application process, so don’t forget to check your email occasionally.

This email arrives approximately 10 business days after your receive your admit letter.

I hope that helps.

Tsocash, my D sing up on her MyRoc but he didn’t find which place to look, she already received her merrit scholarship last week. We leave in new York. We are going to receive the package by mail or e-mail?

I was told by a Financial Aid Counselor that the University of Rochester Financial Aid Package arrives via email approximately 10 business days after you receive your admit letter. If you have any questions, I would advise you to call the Financial Aid Office at 800-881-8234.

Thanks she got an e-mail with all the info.
