@CaliMex, I can tell you they admitted about 750 students in both ED1 and 2 combined
I can see SAT, ACT, TOEFL and IELTS. Domestic. Test scores already submitted.
I think if you did not submit test scores, you do not have the button.
My D was test optional — she has the button but not the SAT/ACT option.
In 20-21 they accepted total 3,700 freshmen and 21-22 3,566. So if they anticipate yield to go up, the number of spots for RD goes down. 750/3xxx?
CDS has grim news about last year’s waitlist— 2,579 offered spots, 1,264 accepted, zero taken off waitlist.
I went test optional and I still have the “self report test scores” button
I self-reported SAT and AP scores, except for the AP’s I have yet to take (obviously). I am domestic and don’t have the button.
Their yield went from 43% in 2020 to more than 50% last year. So they over-enrolled.
Other than last year with the over-enrollment (>1800), Tufts has been enrolling 1500-1600 students. So 750 accepted in ED is about half.
I won’t share too specifically but so far I have been pretty lucky and have only had 1 rejection (Northeastern) and no waitlists. I was also admitted to a T20 school.
@SouthYankie, yes I would say about half the class is already filled. They are probably expecting a similar yield as last year and are planning on accepting maybe a couple of hundred less than last year
Does Tufts send likely letters?
I have the button but when I click on it, it says “access denied”
I didn’t have the add test scores button like an hour ago, but they just added it back
Maybe the whole thing is just a glitch?
Same thing happened to my son’s page- his submit scores button was gone, and now it’s back.
Guys, does tufts request additional docs on IDOC from everyone ?
That must be a positive right? If they are going to turn you down, why bother ask for scores?
DD’s added back as well and when I click I can actually add test scores. As a mom on here (I know, super annoying), I just want to say how amazing you all are. My husband and I are just shaking our heads… we never would have gotten into college!!!
Yes they did to me, hoping this is a good thing! It was a specific error in the tax return, so I feel like that is a good sign!
Yeah honestly I don’t think it matters and there isn’t way we’re going to be able to tell before 7. As far as I can tell, we all have an equal chance to get in tonight. Good luck everyone!!
